The Democratic National Convention Committee welcomed the 15,000 members of the media here to cover the convention to Denver Saturday night with what they called, "A Celebration with altitude," a night of roller coasters, ferris wheels, carnival games, sideshows, and free food and drink at Elitch Gardens amusement park to showcase what Denver has to offer.
Rounding out a week of activities around Earth Day, DNCC staff got their hands dirty Saturday morning at a tree planting in Northwest Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood.
