This is my take on "a scanner darkly" ...probably one of the most amazing movies I've seen for a long time.
The Music is by Moloko "absent minded friends".
After watching the movie, I thought this must be the right song...
Please forgive me if I'm wrong...

The video was originally shot in Gabriel's parents' living room. Two months later, the house burned down in a fire. This is the re-edit of Dim Glass Darkly, incorporating shots of the burned home with the original music video. Commentary by Gabriel Peter

There's almost a dozen videos on YouTube of the Mirror Darkly introduction, but so far as I've seen, they all have cover music, except one obscure one (which I finally found while this vid was uploading). Here's the original intro with the original music, with a fuller title (hopefully easy to find) and more complete tags.

'A Scanner Darkly' mixed with a song by Sebastian Tellier called "La Ritournelle." One of the most difficult music tribute videos I've made given how complex 'A Scanner Darkly' is.

The trailer for the cult, strange arthouse-horror film THE PASSION OF DARKLY NOON (1995), written and directed by Philip Ridley. The film stars Brendan Fraser, Ashley Judd, Viggo Mortensen, Grace Zabriskie and Loren Dean. A film that is certainly not for all tastes, but fans of filmmakers like David Lynch and Peter Greenaway may very well love it.
